Description and Responsibilities

Kerry is looking for a Learning & Development Manager with a passion for leadership development to join our Kerry Learning Academy. The successful candidate plays a key role in fulfilling Kerry’s commitment to grow and develop leadership capabilities across all levels of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement and evaluate onboarding and leadership development programs for our manufacturing facilities across the U.S. and Canada

  • End-to-end ownership of training courses and programs for early career talent and frontline leaders

  • Assess business needs, design scalable learning solutions, ensure ease of solution delivery, and continuously improve to adapt to business needs

  • Evaluate learning programs for quality, business impact, and scalability

  • Facilitate learning solutions in either a physical classroom or virtual setting. Serve as a role model for instructional facilitation and develop those capabilities in others

  • Consult with HR Business Partners, senior business leaders and other key stakeholders to ensure alignment of solutions within business needs and constraints


  • Extensive experience in the areas of adult learning, instructional design, group facilitation, and leadership development for a manufacturing environment

  • Applied knowledge of measurement and program evaluation

  • Proficient in MS Office and Learning Management Systems (LMS)

  • Recent experience in designing and deploying large scale onboarding programs for managers and employees in manufacturing sites

  • Hands-on experience using various psychometric assessment tools

  • Ability to work independently as well as cross-functionally; build relationships and manage stakeholder expectations

  • Outstanding interpersonal, coaching and leadership skills; ability to influence across various leadership levels

  • BA or BS degree in business, human resources, organizational development or related field

  • Ability to travel, up to 60% in the first year
