Description and Responsibilities
This role is a supportive role working with the Quality users at the plants to maintain the LIMS database. This role also provides communication of functionality within LIMS and provides troubleshooting and solutions to our plant users.
Add/Modify/Create new versions of MLPS in LIMS
Maintain all functionality within LIMS (source items, skip-lots, non-reportable data, etc.)
Maintain users (create and remove)
Troubleshoot LIMS issues and functionality
Update mass change requests within LIMS
Liaison between quality in the plants and quality at corporate for LIMS related issues
Create and publish LIMS newsletter quarterly
Create and present monthly/bi-monthly LIMS presentation for LIMS users and Quality Leadership to generate discussion and maintain LIMS knowledge
Support LIMS implementations
Support LIMS projects including: Environmental Monitoring, Allergen Label Verification and SPC
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a science related field.
Proven communicator with strong organizational skills.
Experience providing technical support (configuration/development) for LIMS systems preferred.
Familiarity in an academic or industrial laboratory along with basic microbiology and analytical laboratory processes preferred.
