Description and Responsibilities
We are currently looking for well-qualified candidates to fill an opening for a 2nd shift Casepacker Operator on our new, high-speed packaging lines. Hours for this positions are 2:45pm - 11:00pm, Monday - Friday with availability to work overtime as needed.
This position is responsible for running the case packing equipment while ensuring all products meet customer specifications. This includes properly labeling containers and products, accurately measuring, weighing and counting products. Accurately recording product, packaging and order information on all forms and records. Meeting production schedules by successfully prioritizing daily tasks and expectations, running equipment efficiently, hitting targeted rates, while maintaining safety, GMP, sanitation and quality standards.
HS Diploma or Equivalent
Previous experience of 6+ months in a related field preferred
Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Ability to lift 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation
Great attendance record.
Available to work overtime when needed and occasional Saturdays.
Ability to lift, stand, and stoop for long periods of time.
Demonstrated knowledge of operations
Ability/willingness to learn quickly
Basic mechanical skills a plus
