Description and Responsibilities
Duties include but are not limited to:
color and sediment check
general analytical techniques
Evaluate results compared to specifications and typical history. Determine disposition of raw materials, in-process samples and finished products.
Perform special testing for Logistics Department, Product Development, Purchasing or other departments.
Perform calibrations on and maintain laboratory equipment within the Quality Control Laboratories.
Review Production Batch Records to ensure compliance with manufacturing procedures.
Validates raw materials staged for manufacturing orders at the point of use (batch-setting room, blending suites, staging locations)
Demonstrates leadership in the area of safety. This requires observing and enforcing safety rules and practices, encouraging safe work behaviors, and promptly correcting conditions and unsafe behavior, which may lead to accidents.
Development of Standard Operating Procedures
Adherance to all safety and cGMP programs
Performs troubleshooting associated with laboratory tests and methods as needed.
Authors master laboratory documentation such as SOPs, methods, protocols, etc.
2+ years’ laboratory experience with Bachelor’s Degree in Science (B.S.)
Analytical experience is required
Micro is a plus
