Description and Responsibilities

This position is responsible for handling all cell nutrition and excipient sample requests; beginning with initial request submittal through to shipment.

Process includes: Retrieving request from the sample system database, preparing the sample, documenting information and preparing samples for global shipment, tracking shipments and resolving any delivery issues. In addition the role is responsible for maintaining the sample room including, but not limited to inventory control and maintaining GMP requirements.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Receive sample requests, prepare and record the sample information, request a quality check, enter the shipment information and prepare for shipment

  • Perform mock (or actual) recall on samples

  • Maintain proper inventory levels of product, packing material, and supplies

  • Ensure all materials in the sample room meet standard product specifications, represent typical manufacture, are within shelf life, and any retests are performed before the sample is dispatched

Qualifications

EDUCATION:

AAS degree in business or relevant field preferred; High School/GED required

  • Strong written and verbal English speaking skills

  • Demonstrated basic and advanced math skills

  • Flexible in adjusting his/her work schedule and be able to work overtime when required to meet the department needs

  • Organized, able to maintain attention to detail in a fast paced environment

  • Maintain a consistent sense of urgency

  • Strong customer service mindset

  • Comfortable performing same type tasks on a daily basis

  • Individual must have initiative, be resourceful, and have the ability to use common sense in making confident decisions

  • Commitment to quality and pride in workmanship

  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Suite
