Description and Responsibilities

  • Managing incoming calls from Transportation Companies to schedule pickups throughout the day.

  • Maintaining relationships with Sales Representatives and Customer service for Kerry and Logistic companies to assist and reach solutions in shipping discrepancies

  • Reviewing of Daily order Worksheets which includes: Verifying completion of Work Order, Verifying Correct Product Quantities and weight, Adjusting Weight(s) in system, Verifying Lot/Batch Numbers

  • Noting discrepancies or Problems to Supervisor or Warehouse Personnel

  • Final Inspection of freight prior to leaving Plant

  • Analyzing 'Profile' on worksheet for specific instruction pertaining to shipping requirements, supportive paperwork and other instruction

  • Utilizes LIMS for creation of COA’s and updates all customer owned systems with the information if applicable.

  • Entering batch numbers, manufacturing dates and other data

  • Gathering and Sorting of supportive paperwork to be shipped along with orders

  • Creation of Bills of Ladings, printing of orders, allocations of production, and sends all required paperwork to the customer.

  • Reviewing and verification of data on Packlists, BOL's and supportive paperwork

  • Writing specific instruction as per customer for Truck Drivers on BOL's

  • Check in all incoming carriers, confirm their documentation, and address any concerns.

  • Assists in direction of daily tasks by leading the team of warehouse personal.

  • Assist with pulling and checking orders in freezer, cooler and north.

  • Assist with pulling orders for UPS and ambient LTL shipments.

  • Assist with pulling product for QA.

  • Assist with putting product away in the cooler and freezer in the absence of the freezer/cooler lead.

  • Prioritize the trucks that arrive for the inbound and outbound schedules, plus LTL carriers.


High School diploma is required with some college coursework being highly desirable; A minimum of one year of office experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting and/or a Traffic or Shipping/Receiving role; Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office software applications such as Microsoft Office Word and Excel is required; Experience with A/S 400 and/or MAPICS is an added plus; Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills is required; Ability to juggle multiple priorities and adapt well to change is required; Forklift certified. Ability to drive Stand-up reach trucks; Stand-Up and Sit Down Forklifts.
